Parker Grears Developments was founded in Nuneaton in 2019 by Sean Parker and Paul Grears, who had already worked side by side for more than twenty years. We build extensions, renovations, conversions and new homes across Warwickshire and Leicestershire as principal contractor, which means the whole project, every trade and the finish are our responsibility.

Meet the directors
Parker Grears is run by its two founders. You deal with Sean and Paul directly, from the first conversation to handover, not with a sales team or a site manager you have never met.
Sean Parker
DirectorSean looks after the client side of every project: the first consultation, the independent cost check and fixed quotation, the contract, and the weekly updates once you are on site.
Paul Grears
DirectorPaul leads the build. With more than twenty years on site, he looks after the trades, the programme and the standard of the work day to day.
How we work
Most of the problems people have with builders come down to three things: a price that was never real, a programme nobody wrote down, and a job where no one is clearly in charge. We built the company around fixing those three.
The price is real because we recommend an independent quantity surveyor measures the final drawings line by line before we fix it, and the fixed quotation is built from that takeoff. The programme is written down because you get a schedule at the start of every week and a budget tracker updated at every stage payment. And someone is in charge because Sean and Paul run every project directly, with their own people and established specialist trades under one contract.
It is not complicated. It is just done properly, every time, which is why most of our work comes from recommendation.

Do you do the work yourselves or use subcontractors?
Both. Our own team does the structural and building work, and we bring in established specialist trades we have worked with for years for electrics, plumbing, plastering, roofing and joinery. We manage every trade as principal contractor, so you have one contract, one programme and one point of responsibility.
What accreditations do you hold?
FMB Approved, which means independently vetted by the Federation of Master Builders, and TrustMark registered. Site management holds SMSTS, every team member is CSCS carded, and the specialist trades we use are Gas Safe and NICEIC registered where the work requires it.
Are you insured?
Yes: £5m public liability and £10m employers liability. Certificates are available on request.
What guarantee do you offer?
A 5 year company workmanship guarantee as standard on all completed work, with an optional 10 year insurance backed guarantee available.
Do you train apprentices?
Yes. One of our recent apprentices has qualified as a bricklayer with us, and we continue to support young people coming into the trade.
